Re: Arsenal relegation thread
Hope not because it will make Tottenham fans happy.

There’s no real rivalry between us and Arsenal beyond the standard London Derby. Never has been.

Re: Arsenal relegation thread
Looks like they will have a bad season by there standards, but relegation is a bit of a stretch, mid table is the more likely scenario.

No, not if you're from Swindon anyway.

If the Fat Man at West Brom starts picking up points. I could make things interesting.

They are worse than us in not putting right their obvious weaknesses over the years. Always found it quite odd that Wenger had his best success in many ways with two mountains in Viera and Petit in the teams but in the less successful years they have been a team of fancy dans.

What a pathetic post.

Re: Arsenal relegation thread
Extremely unlikely still.

Reckon we've got a good chance of finishing above them, which would be the first time since at least the nineties I guess?

Arteta is a really fucking annoying man, the deliberately intense stare shit he does etc.

He has been appointed there by virtue of coaching under Pep.

One of my best mates is an Arsenal fan, I would love this to happen for listening to years of shit from him, but I would imagine they will finish around mid table.

Unlikely....Still the best team in North London

Re: Arsenal relegation thread
.... Actually, on checking 85-86 was the last season we finished above Arsenal.

Long overdue is a bit of an understatement!

As hilaruious as that would be, it wint happen. They'll bring in someone who steer them to safety. I can see them luring or trying to lure Espirito Santo from.Wolves.

I heard they tried t get BFS in, but he didn't fancy it.

Caught the tail end of something on the wireless, pundit with ITK Arsenal detail was saying that he 'could not stand' yet what he had heard, but was confident it was correct, would check it out
Went on to say that they have serious problems and that if he was right, it really did look bad on Arteta and would give an insight into not only the results and performances, but also the red cards
Read elsewhere previously that Arteta and David Louis are not even on speaking terms such is the collapse of their relationship
Taken in isolation, it would not be unreasonable to say that Louis looks like he could be bother, likewise shaggy who went to Germany on loan, then Ozil, and Torreia, then Bellerin
But all of them? Must reach a point where the common denominator becomes obvious

Re: Arsenal relegation thread
Has been said that Arteta has brought in Partey & Gabriel who look good (when they play) but there are too many there who should have been shifted.
They look like a bunch of individuals at the moment and not up for a fight.
They have Man City in the League Cup semi on Tuesday & then Chelsea on Boxing Day.
Reckon he will survive defeats there but then they go to Brighton & West Brom.
A couple of relegation 6 pointers!

Saw on social media (SOCIAL MEDIA!) someone saying Max Allegri is learning English .... so that he can reject Arsenal

It would be tremendous if that happened. Smuggest fans in the country.

Re: Arsenal relegation thread
I doubt they will go down...

Arteta is dead man walking...you can lose a match but if your players are busting a gut on the pitch then there is hope for improvement. He is fucked because they have so obviously downed tools for one reason or another apart from Tierney who I wanted us to sign for years before he went to them.

Re: Arsenal relegation thread
They won’t go down but it’s funny hearing their fans in meltdown. Again. Remember how they relentlessly asked for Wenger to go for such a long time because they just finished in and around the Top 4 every single season?

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR.
